We live in a block of flats, and have recently had a baby. Everyone has been so lovely, so we are having drinks and nibbles on Sunday as a thank you/Christmas shinding. We are expecting about 25-20 people. Can you please tell me any quick and easy canapé's that we can make, inbetween looking after a 10 week old ds? Thanks

Very easy and tasty dip - philidelphia topped with sweet chilli sauce topped with chopped fresh coriander

Cocktail sausages are always a winner, just bing them int oven and then put a mixture of honey & mustard over them. Do loads, people Hoover them up

Thank you, both sound like winners

I would second the sausages! Also pate with red onion marmalade or cranberry sauce on mini oatcakes/thin rounds of baguette and blinis with smoked salmon and creme fraiche are always popular and just assembly so can be done easily and in stages if necessary.

Lovely idea btw, enjoy!

Mini mince pies? But instead of a pastry top use a crumble mixture for a change - it's yum!

Small yorkshire pubs - made in a jam tart size tray, you can add coctail sausages for min toad in the hole.

Brie and mango chutney wrapped in fil pastry.

Buy some dried apricots and soak overhight, they will plump up and have a nice hole for filling with garlic, or cheese, or ............. well whatever is in your cupboard, wrap with a bit of bacon, secure with a coctail stick and bake for 10-15 mins.
