Riccotta cheese- is it safe for 8 month old?

I was going to make up a pasta sauce with ricotta but not sure if babies can have it because it does contain salt - anyone know?

You probably have a answer 2 this already but if not. Yep riccota is safe for your 8mth old. I live in Italy and our Ped recommended it from 8mth onwards for our dd. Hope ur baby enjoys.
