Can I use Light Cane sugar in cakes?

Bought Light Cane sugar by mistake, can I use this in cakes? Or do I have to use castor sugar? It says it is mixed with a sweetener - will that go strange if I bake with it?

I believe its possible to substitute one sugar for another in baking, especially if they have almost the same texture. Its just the taste of the final product will differ. Something made with sugar that has more molasses content in it (i.e. the browner the sugar) will have a richer toffee like taste than something made with white sugar.

Thank you I managed to look it up on Tate and Lyle's website that it is fine but I had to amend the weight as it is literally lighter sugar.
