Is it worth nearly 4 quid? Is there much in it for vegans or are all recipes laden with cheese & cream? Just about to drop one in my Tesco online shop but not sure it will cater much for vegans, anyone buy it? Thanks, :)

I prefer Cook Vegetarian. I'm not vegan, but they do have plenty of vegan recipes, clearly labelled.

Why don't you skip it this time, then have a flick through next time you're somewhere that sells it?

I don't think either of them are worth it tbh. Even as a veggie rather than vegan, I have found that there are v few actual recipes, lots and lots of adverts or 'editorial which is actually adverts' and too many of the recipes are for puddings. I'd buy a veggie book or magazine for main courses etc; I can get pudding recipes anywhere.

Remus, I agree that Veg Living is bit too full of waffle, but Cook Veg is mainly recipes (and not that many sweet ones). Or maybe I'm just easily pleased!

Will look again at Cook Veg!

Has anybody seen the Christmas one out at the mo? I might buy that as it has a couple of nice looking recipes.

I got a subscription for my birthday so have got the latest edition, just need to find some time to read it! From a quick flick through, there was s lentil and red pepper loaf that looked nice and other things that I can't remember off hand...

Advice taken I didn't add it to my shopping (that's how I waste money Sad, I will look through it when in Tesco next and look at Cook Veg, I hate a magezine that is padded out with waffle and advertisements.
