Can I slow cook dumplings?

Well I slow cooked herb dumplings last week and they were fine. I guessed the time, but I am pretty sure I put them in for an hour and they were delicious.

No problem, Yorky. I've only had my slow cooker for a couple of weeks, so it's all a bit new to me - I'm very pleased with it, though. We had pork and pineapple tonight; my slow cooker is large and therefore I seem to do at least double quantities in it and then freeze what's left over. Beef in beer with herb dumplings is wonderful.
