Florentines- should they be crisp?

First attempt at Florentines today. They are crisp on the edges and slightly chewy in the middle. Is this right or have I under baked them?

Sounds right to me. Yum.
I'm not sure whether they are meant to be crisp all the way through, i don't think they are.

I think they should be luscious and chewy myself

Ooh good. They look great. Hoping chocolate will be set by the time my friends come for book club this evening. Just done choc now- should be fine by 8pm shouldn't it? Don't want to put them in the fridge in case that bodges them.
