Rice with beef stew???

So I only have one potato and there are two of us. Do you think rice would go ok with it?

Yup- long grain will be fine.

Otherwise whack in a chilli and a spoonful of curry powder & go with basmati.

yes - isn't a large proportion of chinese food some sort of meat in sauce with rice? It'll be fine.

My DCs don't like potatoes so we have rice with all our stews
