daft qst but i've gone blank. does it need to be self raising flour or would plain flour work? argh!

happy baking for dd and i tomorrow. meant to do today but when she reapeatedly did something I was asking her not to, it slipped out my mouth that there would be no CAKES made. and dh said i had to stick to it, lol. so we did flap jacks instead, but I for one am desperate for fairy cakes with sprinkles lol.

I add baking powder to my s/r flour when baking. Smile Makes them lighter... or is that the alcohol? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

I add a tsp for every 2 oz. Smile

I also add milk to my sponges. They are yummy! Grin

ooh yes, milk, and don't forget to blend it as much as you can for a lovely sponge, nice and springy! there's nothing like Spring for baking eh!
