Trying to save money this week, but also like to eat healthy meals, so is a bit of a balancing act. Using stuff up in freezer/cupboards.
Mon - chicken with spicy rub, salad (kids had cucumber/pepper sticks, I had rocket & parmesan salad, cherry tomatoes, baked garlicky mushrooms) and part baked baguettes.
Tues - dh out, probably a chicken and chorizo paella for me and the kids as I have some chorizo and peppers to use up. Or I'll do a chicken tagine.
Wed - homemade pepperoni pizza (pasta and sauce for ds who hates pizza) with salad
Thur - gammon, potato wedges, pineapple, sweetcorn and possibly poached eggs if I have enough.
Fri - Fishfingers and potato wedges for kids as we are going out to eat. SIL and her dh coming to babysit and I offered them dinner so will use up the chilli in the freezer and get in some sour cream as I know they like it.
Sat - burgers in buns with salad.
Sun - beef and carrot stew with yorkshire puddings. Usually have friends over for dinner so may end up making another pizza so don't have to go shopping.
