How often should I feed my Christmas cake?

Just that really. I made my Christmas cake 2 weeks ago and fed it with brandy when it had cooled.

How often should I feed it up until I marzipan / ice it?

Thanks :)

I made mine in Sept and am supposed to feed it on the first of each month thereafter.

(Actually I do it when I remember so it has just had 3 tbsp of brandy and that's its first feed since I made it in mid-Sept. I'll do one more at the beginning of Dec I think so it has enough time to dry before I marzipan and ice it.)

I do mine once a week, but then skip it the week I plan on icing it.

But I haven't made mine yet, will do it next week

On the basis that mine always ends up being a bit too dry (and because my entire family are raging alcoholics) I intend to feed it about every week. Made it last week so best get on with it!

Right well I made it a fortnight ago so I'll get the brandy out...

Thanks Smile
