Gnocchi Bake

I'm thinking of doing this for dinner tonight. Gnocchi mixed with cheese sauce and oven roast veg and topped with breadcrumbs and cheese. I'll probabley cook it for 30 mins in oven.

So do you think I need to cook gnocchi first, as it only needs 5 mins in boiling water normally?

They do grow quite a bit when you boil them so I'd either do a slightly wetter sauce so they have plenty to absorb, or boil first.

I do gnocchi in the oven w peppers, red onion, courgette and lemon chunks - 30 mins then put salmon fillets on top for another 15. It's lovely and the gnocchi are all crispy on the outside and soft inside. We all love it.
