Do you make Use-Up Stew?

Pretty much anything goes into Use-Up Stew or Use-Up Pie. It's generally fine, often even very nice.

Contemplating this week's leftovers, I've got a portion-and-a-bit of fish stew (lots of green veg, herbs, mushrooms, potatoes), and a portion-and-a-bit of Spag Bol (more accurately Rice Bol), as well as the usual odds 'n' ends of veg.

If I put them together, would it be edible, I wonder?

No no no......

Do freezer dinner where you lay out all the mains down the middle and veg or rice round the outside...

That's what I did in the end. But I wonder what the combo might have been like...

Use-up stirfry or hash in this house, depending on whether it involves rice or mince and potatoes. Though my mum used to do 'Spanish rice' which was based on rice and mince and tomato and random veg and lots of Tabasco.
