easy biscuit recipe please

bought some Easter cutters in Tesco; now I realise I don't know how to make biscuits!

i nearly did the exact sme thing but remembered i cant make biscuits.

6oz butter
2oz icing sugar
8oz sr flour

soften butter, sieve sugar and flour and mix together.
rool on floured board, cut and cook at gas 5 for 8 mins.
cool a little before moving off tray.

You can add flavourings too...choc chips or coconut are my favourites.
Best eaten on the day you make them.

basic sugar cookies
200g soft butter
200g caster sugar
1 egg
400g plain flour

cream butter and sugar together until just creamy, otherwise the cookies will spread

beat in the egg

stir in the flour until a dough forms

chill for one hour

roll and cut

cook for 8-10 minutes on 180

coll on a wire rack
