Pie filling suggestions needed

I'm planning a pre Christmas gathering (10 people) and have already decided i will cook these Individual Christmas Pies for the vegetarians.

Any ideas what i can put in the meateaters pies?

Have had a look on the internet but all the recipes i like are either cold pies (like pork pies) or ones rich in gravy which might not work in the suet pastry. I only want to make one kind of pastry to save time on the day.

Meat filling needs to be not pork (muslim guest) or contain mushrooms & aubergines (allergies).

Steak and ale?

Ham and leek? Chicken and bacon? Something with turkey?

Chicken, white wine, tarragon
Salmon & Asparagus
Ham hock and lentils
What about a venison recipe?

Could you not just make small steak and onion puddings. You can bake rather the steam.

why don't you just have one kind of pie and then add some meat to one of the veg side dishes

I'm liking the chicken, white wine & tarragon but need to find an alternative for the wine.

witchwithallthetrimmings what meat with veg side dish were you thinking of? The only one i could think of was brussel sprouts with bacon.
