Defrosted Chicken Question - help please!

I took some frozen chicken breasts out of the freezer to defrost in the fridge the day before yesterday.

I forgot about them yesterday so wanted to do something with them today (casserole). I just checked the bag in the freezer and it says use within 24 hours?

Am i total plank or are these still usable - ive already cut up the veg now - doh!

I don't see why not.

You'll know if they're off.

Did you freeze them from fresh or were they bought frozen?

They were bought frozen.

They dont smell (well no more than raw meat does anyway - bleugh)

Fresh chicken doesn't smell, off chicken is really unpleasant.

Yes - i have smelt foul chicken before (pardon the pun)
