Made dd an open tart of mozzarella, tomato and mushroom for dinner, and just thought it might not be nutrious enough...should I give an emergency toddler try instead?

Confused it's fine, it's one meal.

FangsGoForTheMaidensThroat · 01/11/2012 17:51

no, she will get malnutrition

It will be fine, and sounds very nutritious! {smile]

TantrumsAndBalloons · 01/11/2012 17:55

Why would you think it isn't nutritious enough?

poocatcherchampion · 01/11/2012 17:57

What's a try? Can't work it out.

Sounds fine to me. My 7mo has meals like that some days

NettoSpookerstar · 01/11/2012 17:58

No way, she needs some rusks and a sausage roll.

LoveYouForeverMyBaby · 01/11/2012 18:03

Sorry toddler tray not try.

I was worried there wasn't even protein but does the mozzarella cover that? And also veg, wasn't sure if mushrooms counted as a veg as such in terms of vitamins etc.

Are mushrooms not veg then?

LoveYouForeverMyBaby · 01/11/2012 18:09

Well they re but do are potatoes and chips don't count as one of your 5 a day! Wasn't sure if mushrooms was in the same theme.

It's fine. Don't worry about protein, they don't actually need that much. Can get their daily requirements from a couple of petit filous IIRC

Like the thinking about nutrion over a week instead of daily that makes me feel alot better.

Thinking over the week is spot on. I used to worry too much too! Blush

AlphabetiSpaghetti · 01/11/2012 19:13

I am clearly a bad mother as I give my one year old stuff like that thinking that's a great tea.

Yesterday he was at a party and had tuna sandwiches, grapes, sausages and a chicken nugget.

Tomorrow he will get a bag on haribo and consider himself lucky! Grin
