got this from the Guardian a few weeks ago and we now eat it every week. Cut some poatoes into roast potato size and boil until tender. empty large tin of baked beans into baking tray, put potatoes on top and cover with masses of grated cheese. put in oven (gas mark 5) for around 15/20 mins until cheese has melted and beans hot. I then stick under the grill briefly to brown it a bit. we eat it with sausages (meat for him and veggie for me) and it is wonderful comfort food especially on a miserable damp evening. Kids love it too - what's not to like?!!
