I want to know too! Just done my usual shop and discovered all Saturday slots are full so going for Sunday now, obviously cos of Halloween. So want to get Christmas one booked asap.

multipoodles · 26/10/2012 14:02

It's usually three weeks before the date you require. But it's best to sit up until after midnight on the morning they go live as by 8am all the popular slots will be gone. Keep an eye on the websites but I know Tesco publicise these too well now and they go very very quickly.

Waitrose have been available for a couple of weeks - Ocado have priority slots for delivery pass customers but I think they make their Christmas slots available towards the end of November.

I think you can book Sainsburies two weeks in advance and Tesco three

terrywoganstrousers · 26/10/2012 14:06

i've had my waitrose one for weeks, sorryGrin

multipoodles · 26/10/2012 14:15

Just checked back through old emails (how sad) but they went on release last year on 28th November :)

multipoodles · 26/10/2012 14:16

Oh that was for Tesco :)

MadameCastafiore · 26/10/2012 14:20

Got my christmas and new year delivery booked already with Waitrose - came out a few weeks ago I think.

lightrain · 26/10/2012 14:22

Ocado is open from 30th nov.

RinderThrillerNight · 26/10/2012 22:09

My Ocado delivery slot is available from tomorrow. Grin

I am going to be very, very sad (as I was last Christmas) and reserve my spot at midnight tonight.

ihatethecold · 27/10/2012 12:35

the ocado ones still cost 9.99, even though I'm a delivery card holder. how wrong is that?

DameEnidsOrange · 27/10/2012 15:25

YY ihatethecold - I've got a delivery pass but still have to pay so booked my Waitrose slots a couple of weeks back

IIRC Ocado released some xmas eve slots two days beforehand which annoyed those who had booked theirs weeks previously

ihatethecold · 27/10/2012 16:21

Is waitrose free then?

I suppose they are all booked up now. Never ordered from them before. Always use ocado.

terrywoganstrousers · 27/10/2012 17:41

Waitrose is free if you order over £50.
It might be worth having a look because it is still October!
