Want to bake something as a present? Ideas & how to package it?

I'm meeting an old friend for the day on Fri & would like to bake her something sweet. I'm quite good at shortbread, fairy cakes etc.

I would appreciate ideas & how best to present them as she's passing through visiting me then going on elsewhere.

My usual baking wares are normally for school cake sales so I get the tins/tray back.

Tia all!

Hi, do you have a Sainsburys near you? They sell cupcake boxes, I think for 4 cakes which would look nice. In the past I've made cookies and put them in cellophane bags with ribbon but I bought these online. If you need them straight away I think you'd need a specialist cookshop.

After a mumsnetter suggested this cupcake bouquet I have been desperate to have an excuse to have a go! Looks fab :)
