Dc have asked for hot cross buns for breakfast but they have an egg in them. If I put all the ingredients in the bread maker now, including the egg so they started cooking around 6am would the egg be ok overnight?

Can you make individual buns in your bread maker? Or are you makin the dough only?

TempusFunghi · 20/10/2012 22:34

Just making the dough, I'll shape them into buns in the morning.

Fine, eggs don't need to be in the fridge.

I want a hot cross bun!!!

PrincessOfChina · 20/10/2012 22:37

Most people I know don't keep their eggs in the fridge. I do but mainly cos I don't know where else to keep them.
