Hello,

Ooo love this new topic!

I've just started making fresh bread, and tbh I'd like to do it all the time now. But I think it'll be in practical to do all the prep everyday.

So my question is have you frozen dough. Did you part bake and freeze or did you just freeze the dough... And how long does fresh bread last?

Thank you... I'm cooking Muffins today :)

You can freeze dough, yes. I think hugh fw recommends it with his magic dough and i'm pretty sure i've done it too.

So no to part-baking. Fresh bread lasts a while, depending on how fresh you want it - the first day delicious, the second day fine, the third i would toast it, but dd1 occasionally has to have it in her lunch in sandwich-form if i've been particularly disorganised. I normally try to slice and freeze the first few slices so i finish the bread within two days, and dd can have defrosted bread on the third day iyswim.
