chicken and apple balls v popular in this house

iota · 27/03/2006 14:51

or did you mean sounds fowl, Twigs?

lunarx · 27/03/2006 14:56

they're an annabel karmel recipe i got out of a baby magazine...

its basically grated carrot, apple, onion, breadcrumbs, chicken and spices blended in food processor and cooked in oil (i precook the chicken to so i only lightly fry them)

they taste really good. and not foul at all. :p
(but to each their own!)

I am constantly trying to cook home made food and my 17 mnth DD wont eat it!! It's driving me crazy as she only wants jars now!

Any idea how to get them off the jars?

I might start a new thread on this.

lunarx, total sympathy. ds used to eat all my lovely home-cooked food until approx age 2 (now 2.5) and it is frustrating. I try not to worry because I know that there are worse eaters (he'll always have breakfast cereal, and he likes pasta, baked beans, spaghetti hoops and peas, and will tolerate say a home-cooked burger mixed subtly in with one of the above) but all the same... bit gutting isn't it?

I console myself my thinking that I used to be a fussy child and now eat almost anything.
