Just wondering if anyone has tried this recipe from the 'bake' book?

Decided to be adventurous and make my Christmas cake, seeing as I'm on mat leave, but I want it to be lovely!

Ha ha emblosion, i have one in the oven as we speak, recipe i had on line, got black treacle, lemon juice, etc etc, smells nice too, again its for the person i'm supposed to be making the wedding cakes for next year, she also wants a fruit cake, so it was an excuse to make a nice cake, i'll try and keep it wrapped up but thats a hard task for me!

I have an old recipe my gran gave me too so I might end up making both!
