Mince

Is it okay to freeze mince on it's use by date? I've already made dinner and forgotten to use the mince. I don't want to waste it but can't be bothered to do anything with it tonight. So can I just chuck it in the freezer?

Sorry if this is a stupid question by the way. I never really freeze stuff and it says 'freeze on the day of purchase' on the label.

yep. biff it in freezer. When you defrost it cook it straight away though - I wouldn't let it lurk round another day or two.

Will do, thank you Smile
