My 15 month dd has discovered 'dipping' and I am bored of the same old lunches! Please can you recommend some tasty, low salt soup ideas that I could try please!
My cooking skills are limited but I will give anything a go!

Cauliflower soup?

1 onion
1 clove of garlic (or more if liked)
A little bit of oil and/or butter
1 cauli broken into florets
1 small potato chopped
1 carrot grated
Chicken stock

Fry onion and garlic in oil/butter. Add everything else and simmer until soft (40 mins ish)

Whizz it all up once cooked.

Serve with grated cheese.

Tomato soup.
An onion, some garlic and some oil sweated a bit, a tin of tomatoes cooked down a bit with a tin of tomato puree. Whizz it all up and add some water if necessary. A dollop of cream, either ordinary or soured is lovely with it.

Carrot and lentil.

An onion, four to six carrots, half a bag of lentils (~250g), 500ml stock.

Fry off the onion, add stock and carrots, simmer for ten mins then add lentils. Simmer for 35mins or so until carrots are soft.

Thats all very approx btw. I just chuck in and dont really measure. I have to blend with a stick blender because I have a fussy DP. But can be eaten as is.
