Can you lovely mnetters help please? I have seen on here people do a roast chicken but I don't know where to start if I do it in the slow cooker!

I just bung mine in, resting on a bed of scrunched up foil as a lot of liquid does come off them. Put on high for first hour then turn down and leave - I normally leave it from about 8.30 am when I leave the house until I get home from work around 4pm. They taste nice and are juicy but look a bit pale, you don't get crispy skin. Good for putting into a risotto or pie, not quite so good as part of a roast dinner type meal.
