Can red cabbage be frozen?

It's been cooked in the normal way with onions and apple etc. Just got loads of it and it's only me that eats it so wondered if I could stick some in the freezer. Anyone?

I think so - I froze loads the other day so hope it'll be OK, my mum assured me it would!

yes you can, but it does loose a little bit of its texture

yes, I always make loads In December and freeze for getting out at Christmas and New Year.
