bought some beginning of week, never had it before, whats the best way to cook it??

I like mine cooked in the oven. I melt some butter pour over and bake, the softer you want it, the longer you bake. sometimes I wrap it in parma ham or add some syrup to the butter mix.

roasted is nice, or steamed (stand the stalks woody end down in a pan of boiling water, don;t immerse the spears) - lovely with melted butter or olive oil. or makes a lovely risotto.
