Freezing tomatoes

I have a few tomato plants and the tomatoes are finally turning red but obviously not all at the same time. Can I freeze the ripe ones to keep until I have enough to make chutney?

I think they wold go mushy. But you can make chutney with green tomatoes.

I know but half of them are green, half of them are red. Would that be ok for chuney?
