Can I reheat chicken?

I noticed that some chicken breasts I had brought were "use by" last Saturday. Didn't want to eat them so made them into a curry which has been in my fridge since then. Is it OK to reheat tonight or should I have frozen it?

Should be fine. Make sure you heat through thoroughly until piping hot though.

Reheating should be fine - make sure hot all the way through etc etc.
Cooked stuff like this keeps beyond the use-by date of the raw ingredients.

The curry smell would overpower the bad meat smell thought wouldn't it? Or would it? I'm a bit paranoid about chicken.

Which I could say something exciting about my nickname, but it's just a holiday centre in Hampshire Grin

It will also taste better today as it's had a couple of days for all the flavours to fuse together - yum.

I ended up eating something else Monday night and froze this on Tuesday morning - should I have done that, will it be worth eating when I defrost it this weekend? Bearing in mind it was use by Sat, cooked in curry sauce Sat night, then frozen Tues morning. I'm useless at all this Grin
