We use the Quorn strips in tortilla wraps with salsa, cheese, cooked peppers/onions etc. DD loves adding it all to the tortilla and rolling it up.
Or use the chunks to make a "chicken" and mushroom style pie with puff pastry top.

You could make it as a rissotto, add herbs, onoins, peppers etc with side salad and garlic bread.

The pie sounds nice!

Fry lightly in olive oil and then add some soy sauce and cook for another couple of minutes. Add to a gi-normous bowl of salad with every salad ingredient you can think of. This is known as "kitchen sink salad" in these parts.

We normally have them as a casserole or curry or mixed in with pasta. Never done the tortilla wraps with them though but they sound nice.

jellyjelly - are you veggie or just switching for the health benefits?

jellyjelly · 20/03/2006 14:50

Not a veggie but like to eat veggie as i used to be one. Dh doesnt like veggie food as he feels that a meal isnt a meal without meat. Also doing slimming world where quorn is free to eat on both days but can eat loads with pasta/rice/potatoes so need ideas.

Today i had quorn with quark, red onion and mushroom curry on a jacket which was lovely as i never cok jackets.
