Supping with a friend tonight, but don't know where to go to accomodate her low/no carb diet. Help!

Anywhere!

The only cuisine I've ever really had problems with on a low-carb WOE is Thai, because so many of the sauces contain quite high levels of 'hidden' sugar. Even Italian places will usually have something on the menu that's suitable for low-carb. Really, as long as it's a half-decent place (i.e. not breadcrumbs-on-everything, fast food places) there's bound to be plenty that will suit her.

How long has she been low-carbing? I order burgers without the bun (but extra cheese and bacon!) Extra veg instead of chips. Indian food without the rice or naan but extra sides. Fish, seafood, all kinds of meat. Cheese plate instead of pudding. Even a kebab without the pitta Grin No one bats an eyelid.

Where would you usually go?

tea is right.

most places you can get a steak or piece of meat with salad or veg.

turkish is good for grilled meats and fish.

yesterday I had a gorgeous tequila and lime marinated roast chicken at Giraffe.

Chinese can also be quite sugary and have cornflour in the sauces, so not ideal.
