Egg is just the binding, you can pretty much use anything to replace it.

Half a ripe banana = one egg and the result doesn't taste overwhelmingly of banana. Or stewed apple is nice and gives sweetness so you need less sugar.

Wow never knew that. I'll use one of my tried and tested recipes and replace with banana. Thank u very much

You're welcome, my littlest ds is egg allergic so we had to come up with a way he could enjoy my delicious fairy cakes without going all red and itchy!
