How to stick cake decoration

I've bought a princess cake decoration and need to fix it onto a shop bought cake which will have hard (royal?) icing on it.

I want to fix the figuirine to the cake at the party venue and so is there something ready made i can buy in a tube to fix it on?

buttercream icing - use it like glue

If you buy a packet ot regal ice ( fondant icing) just use a blob, add drop of water mix it to a paste, that usually works like glue.
