Oh my goodness I can cook!

Yes, it may sound silly, but I've always kind of assumed that I wouldn't be a very good cook, mainly because my mum was such a good one that she never let me near the kitchen to practice! But this week, now my essays are all in for the term, i have made a scrummy guacamole, a perfect victoria sponge, a shepherds pie, bread and butter pudding, and I have just finished making Jamie Oliver's minestrone soup, and I am blown away that I can make something so delicious. It says suitable for six, but I can't see it lasting the night :)

Ah that is so very nice! I love to cook too LittleLamb, your confidence is sure to keep building too. There are lots of Mums on here sharing their best recipes too--it keeps me motivated to make something new all the time.
