can you give us a bit more to go on?
What do you dislike?
What's you cooking skills level?
Why on earth can't you eat parma ham?
And are you really stuck, are you vast?

melsy · 19/03/2006 10:42

oooook suzywong , am I vast ?????????

I cant eat parma ham , cos IM sort of 19 weeks pg and its a NO NO.

To give an idea on my cooking skill,as not feeling hugely articulate this morning, so far I am making this week ;

chicken balls in passata
teryaki salmon parcels
garlic prawns
sausage and mash

Im just stuck , as end up making alot of the same things like bolognese or lamb neck stew in wine or red thai curry. Dh is more willing than me to faff for an hour! I cant stand up to long at the hob.

never heard of parma ham being verboten. what is the reasoning behind that? it's cooked, it's not made of liver, errr...??

madmarchhare · 19/03/2006 11:25

Sounds like you eat lots of scrummy things already.

I cant believe what 'they' advise you can and cant eat in pregnancy, its just getting beyond the joke. SIL wouldnt eat mozzarellar or creme fresh to other day, eh?

madmarchhare · 19/03/2006 11:26

lol at the 'r' there.

melsy · 19/03/2006 11:27

Thats the thing , weras smoke salmon is hot smoked, parma ham is covered in salt spices etc and left to hang for years, not cooked at all.

Oh tush, tush!
The women of Andalusia postively thrive on it during the third semester. Washed down with some rough Malaga and a salami chaser
