I was going to try pulled pork a few weeks ago and then some suggested BBQ pork... shoulder steaks in the slow cooker with a bottle of BBQ sauce... it is very very tasty Grin

Your marinade sounds good, tho from google pulled pork tends to use Ginger Ale or Root Beer so thinking of flavours that match up with that I guess??

I do mine in the slow cooker with a can of full fat cola and a bottle of Paul Newmans BBQ sauce mmmmmm

Yes just garlic, onion, pork loin and a bottle BBQ sauce here. Never bothered with the extra liquid of coke etc. in a slow cooker, I think that would be more relevant if you had a slightly higher temp cooking so more of it was evaporated off.

I leave mine plain, just salt and pepper and then chucked in the sc all day.
I then make, or buy barbecue sauce, or have it in buns with stuffing, apple sauce and gravy.
There's only two of us so I freeze plain leftovers and then can decide how I want it when defrosted.
