Rangemaster advice needed

pinxminx · 14/09/2012 20:33

We have recently moved house and the new kitchen has a Rangemaster oven etc. it has 2 ovens, one fan and one convential. What I'm not sure about is which oven is best for cooking what. Eg which is best for cakes, roasts etc

Any wisdom would be greatfully received!

We use conventional for cakes as fan overlooks outside. Roast either hth

Thanks, that makes sence - I baked a cake in the fan oven and the out side was very brown, yet it sunk when I took it out. The fan oven does seem to be quite fierce!

Hi I use the gas for cakes as the electric one is quite narrow and tins etc have to be manoeuvred in and think the gas one cooks more evenly.
