I need ideas. Specially on how to make my DS eat veggies. He loves chicken and rice, meat balls and pasta and bolognese meat with spaghetti, but that's about it.

Veggies hidden in pizza sauce, soup, cottage pie with hidden veggies, sneak grated courgette/carrot into meatballs . Hth

I just give them what we're having. If they eat it great, if not, meh.

How old is he?
Would he eat raw veggies with dip or help to prepare the food?

If I'm making bolognaise and I know some of the children won't eat veggies then I make the sauce in advance and pack it with veg - peppers, carrots, celery, courgette, onions, mushrooms etc and blitz it so it's smooth. Then when I actually cook I put the sauce in as usual, it tastes the same and because there's no obvious veg the kids all eat it! :)

Mixing the veggies in the sauce sounds like a good idea. He's 3.

Grate carrots on the finest bit of the grater to make carrot pulp and add it to bolognaise, meatballs, cottage pie or basically anything, it melts into the sauce with no trace :)

Otherwise, I am indulgent mother who makes them food they like, but if they don't eat the veg then they have to eat fruit instead.

I also need new recipes ideas. What do you children like eating?

Chicken or fish enchiladas or fajitas go down very well here. Likewise chicken risotto and fishcakes

Marking my place having served up fishcakes for the billionth time Blush
