Chicken packet pierced in freezer

Hello, quick advice needed.

I have just dug out a packet of frozen chicken thighs and the packaging has been pierced whilst in the freezer - dare I still use the thighs? They have been in the freezer for approx 6 weeks but no idea when the packet was damaged.

I can't see that it would make any difference. I would still use them.

I would use them without a second thought.

I use stuff that comes out unwrapped because the crappy bag I used has completely perished!

Hello, thanks for all your replies - the chicken thighs are being defrosted as I type!

Agree - use them unless they smell unholy when defrosted.
