Does anyone have the Usborne (farm?) cook book?

I want to make Poppy's chocolate cake from the Usborne cook book. I think it is the farm one. I found the recipe on this thread.

But I'm sure the recipe had soft brown sugar in it. Can anyone check for me? I'd really appreciate it.

I have their Children's Cookbook, that has Sticky chocolate cake. Not sure if it's the same though. It lists light brown soft sugar, but I'm abroad and can't find soft sugar so I always use regular brown sugar. Always comes out nice.

Sorry I didn't get the link to work properly www.mumsnet.com/Talk/recipes/688156-Easy-Chocolate-Cake

It lists sugar in the directions but not in the ingredients so I want to know the amount of sugar.

My mum has the recipe but is away on holiday. I was hoping to make it this week.

Thanks Adora, I'm also abroad so will be making loads of substitutions. Hoping it will turn out ok :)

Oops, didn't realise you needed the amount, sorry. My book shows 225g/8 oz of sugar to the same quantity of butter/marge, 200g/7 oz of SR flour and 4 tbsp of cocoa powder, 4 eggs and 1 tbsp of milk.

Thank you so much! Will give it a try and see how it comes out.
