Hi, I'm looking to buy an icing bag and nozzles to enable me to ice some cupcakes and do some icing on biscuits. Was looking for some recommendations please. Are the disposable ones any good?

Thanks in advance :)

Disposable ones are great Grin

I buy them from here, FWIW.

Can I ask a really daft question? I have bought disposable bags and also have a variety of metal nozzles to try for the first time, as I usually just use the plastic ones that are atatched by a ring....but I cant get the hang of it - does the bag go over or in the nozzles, I think I must be doing somethigng wrong Blush

I just cut the end of the dispoable & slip the nozzle in without an adaptor...seems to work ok.

The Lakleand disposable ones are probably what you need. You can fit a nozzle on with a coupler or just slip it inside the bag after snipping the end.

You can use a coupler on any decent disposable bags - or just put the larger piping tubes inside them (cut hole first, but not too big as it will stretch slightly) - I have done both with the Nisbets ones with no problem. When done, I cut it off just behind the nozzle/coupler, bin the bag, and extract the nozzle from the remaining bit.
