Fifty Great Curries of India by Camellia Panjabi.

It is absolutely excellent.

anjum anand has good recipe books. We have 'Indian food made easy', 'I Love Curry' and 'Anjum's new Indian'

Agree with Anjum Anand plus have to recommend Madhur Jaffrey. Her recipes are authentic...and quick. She is a cook not a chef which I think makes all the difference. I have a battered old penguin copy of "An invitation to Indian Cooking" plus a newer one from BBC Books just called 'Madhur Jaffrey Curries'.

I have the 50 great curries of India one.
Getorf recommended it to me, and she knows curry.
This isn't a book, obv, but the site owner is Indian, and her recipes really work. She had one on the menu at Leon.
