Last night I prepared everything for lamb tagine so that this morning i could just bung it all in the slow cooker. But, I'd forgotten to get the ginger. Ive just notwbought some fresh ginger but I'm wondering how exactly to add it. If i'd had it yesterday i would have fried it for a while with the garlic and other spices to mix it in to the mince etc. Can I just grate it straight into the slow cooker now?
