cake recipe to use up eggs

just that really...chickens laying faster than we can eat em. need an egg-heavy cake recipe

Does it have to be cake? How about brownies? I use Nigella's recipe from HTBADG and that uses 6 large eggs. Makes loads of brownies and they are yummy!

Make a sponge using 4-5 eggs and equal amounts of other ingredients (flour, butter, sugar, plus a dash of vanilla extract, tsp baking powder) and then make a proper homemade custard to pour over it. Stodge at its best! Reminds me of school dinner puddings! Or egg custard tarts?

There is a lemon drizzle cake on the good food website that is amazing. I think it uses 6 eggs.

Only four eggs but you would need to make double anyway as its so yum.
