My lot all pile through the door from school at 6.
Starving.
I am thinking along the lines of

shepherds pie
roast.
macaroni cheese

what else can I do.

Last night we had a Tesco value cheese and bacon quiche which was surprisingly tasty (kids didnt like), corn on the cob, mew potatoes, lettuce (kids didn't like) and cucumber. V.quick espesh as I made the salad and cooked the pots in advance. Other things the kids are especially keen on are: Macaroni cheese/pasta bake
Spag bol
Chicken casserole with jps
Roast dinner
Fishcakes/fishfingers
Sausage and mash
Toad in the hole
Homemade pizzas
Jps w/cheese and beans
Chicken wrapped in mozzarella and bacon w/cous cous and roasted peppers.

I'm veggie, so we all eat veggie pretty much all the time at home:

veggie chilli with rice or tortillas
chickpea curry with rice or naan
veggie sausage casserole with hassleback potatoes
Quorn mince shepherd's pie with savoy cabbage
puy lentil lasagne
macaroni cheese for nights when dd1 isn't here
pasta with roasted vege and chilli pesto
butternut squash, chickpea and spinach baked tortillas
jacket potatoes with something
homemade soup with bread and cheese
