Yoghurt dated 20 August

Just found a big pot of plain Greek yoghurt festering in the back of my fridge. All sealed up, dated 20 August.

What do you reckon? Straight in the bin? Or does someone have a recipe for something delicious that requires a pot of elderly yoghurt?

I recon if it has not gone green you can still eat it. Blush

I'm all for ignoring use by dates but that is getting on a bit for yogurt. Has the packaging expanded at all? If the lid is raised it might be a bit buggy.

I never bother with dates.
If it looks ok, smell it, if it smells ok taste it, if it tastes ok eat it.

Should be totally fine! IME yoghurt is still alright 3 weeks after the best before date.

DH eats 6mth out of date yoghurt. I cant bring myself to do that but I'd probably stretch to a couple of weeks. If it looks fine & smells fine should be OK.
