Tortilla bake thing

Cook mince with chopped onion/peppers and add taco spice (as packet instructions) Grin
Layer mince/salsa/grated cheese/tortilla wraps in a deep dish. Bake until bubbling.
I eat it with sour cream or guacamole and salad

I know a family that make curry with mince.

Not sure about the texture of that. Lasagne would be my first thought, or stuffed veg or vine leaves. Burgers? Meatballs? Scotch eggs?

OP have you bought a job lot (so you could freeze it) or just fed up with spagbol?

Whats Babooti?

It's a south african dish - cape malay style. Very nice but it is quite sweet so if you don't like fruit with meat it won't be for you.

Mae some suet pastry.

Fry the mince with onion, add flour and boiling water to make a bit of gravy.

Use the suet and mince to make womething resembling a swiss roll, seal the ends and bake.

Meatballs?

half mince and half sausage meat, make into balls and oven bake, serve with spaghetti and tomato sauce.

Back to the suet - make meat puddings.

Stuffed marrow. Jamie O has a good recipe for really succulent beefburgers. Curried with Naan to dip in. Meatballs in a tomato and chilli broth (Albondigas, Mexican). More here homecooking.about.com/library/archive/blbeef36.htm

I like the sound of Getorf's Keema. Mouth watering, even though it isn't yet 5am!

This is gorgeous and uses slightly different spices to those I'd usually reach for.
