Jam roly poly

All this talking here of autumn has made me fancy stodgy winter puds. Really fancy a jam roly poly has anyone got a good recipe and best way of cooking it?

Buy a packet of suet - the recipe will be on the packet.

Basically make suet pastry, roll out, cover in jam and roll up. Leave a bit jam free at the end so you can seal it with the pastry.

Wrap in foil and either steam or oven bake.
