So give me an idiots guide on how to do them please.

Was thinking of cheese onion and tuna for the filling.

I know you cook the pots in the oven and then scoop out the insides and mash the rest of the stuff in, spoon back in and brown the tops, but how long to I cook the pots for to begin with ??

They take ages in the oven but better as they go crispy.
I've never timed but stick a skewer in to tell.
Also ad some more cheese to the tops and grill.
mmmmmmmmm think i'll have them nowSmile

about an hour at 200c. If they are big skewer them to help them cook quicker. Smear the outside with butter and salt and wrap in foil. Nice and crispy.

put them in the microwave for 10 minutes first as it reduces the cooking time.
Then into the hot oven for about 30 minutes or until crispy outside and feel squidgy when you squeeze them.
Then scoop outsides out and mash with filling and bake for another few minutes until top goes golden.

Right ok, thanks will give it a go.

Would you just put salad with them then ??

yes. or maybe garlic bread if I was really hungry. Ranch salad is nice with pots.
